Our unique route selection algorithms are able to resolve all operational cost factors simultaneously to calculate an optimized 4-dimensional flight path:
3 dimensional space (lateral route and altitude profile)
4th dimension time (cruising speed).
All cost factors are taken into account by the algorithms to resolve the lowest cost arrival time that meets specific mission requirements at the lowest possible fuel burn:
- fuel price
- time dependent maintenance cost (TDMC)
- crew cost
- overflight charges
- forecast or actual delay cost.

Changes to any one flight plan factor has an impact the others; flywize integrates all these variables in the flight profile resolution. Instead of merely accelerating a flight in order to meet a required arrival time, flywize computes the extra fuel cost against all possible route changes, over-flight charges, delay cost factors and computes the precise profile required to meet the arrival time at the minimum cost (at the minimum possible fuel burn). These results provide our airline customers with a thorough understanding of the impact of flight delays, other operational variables and total costs.
