f:wz together with its partner Airbus Industries launched a new release of Airsavings. The web-based tool AirSavings is designed to allow users to manage all aspects of flight-related costs that are needed to compute accurate flight-sector-specific cost indices.

Also in January, the British carrier bmi joined the fwz-community. bmi selected the the flywize flight planning system to replace their former systems.
