After an intensive and detailed evaluation Air India, a big international carrier, based in Mumbai, announced its decision for a long-term agreement with f:wz as their preferred system provider for their operation department.
New release of Airsavings
f:wz together with its partner Airbus Industries launched a new release of Airsavings. The web-based tool AirSavings is designed to allow users to manage all aspects of flight-related costs that are needed to compute accurate flight-sector-specific cost indices.

Also in January, the British carrier bmi joined the fwz-community. bmi selected the the flywize flight planning system to replace their former systems.

In January, USA 3000, an airline based in Pennsylvania, selected the flywize: flight planning system for its operation. With USA 3000, f:wz is adding another costumer based in the U.S. market, thus increasing the number of U.S. carriers within the f:wz-family to 5.
